Hey guys!
I’m fairly brokenhearted: my favorite record store in the entire world is for sale, and closing down. Have you ever heard of Vintage Music Company? It’s in Minneapolis, Minnesota (about three hours from my home here in Winona) – and they sell nothin’ but 78s! Yup, it’s insane and incredible.
A huge amount of the music I play on “Jack Norton’s Old-Time Radio Show” and “Jack Norton’s Old-Time Kids Records” were records I picked up at Vintage Music over the years.
Sadly, Scott is selling the store – and everything must go! I ended up buying the entire children’s music section of the store. Yowza!

Not sure if it’s of interest, but before running over to Vintage Music, I played Utepils Brewing in Minneapolis. I’m doing kids/family concerts there as Conductor Jack over the next several weekends for their Oktoberfest. Here’s a pic I snapped during sound check before the show stated…
