The DeZurik Sisters, also known as The Cackle Sisters, were two gals from the tiny town of Royalton, Minnesota who learned to yodel by imitating chickens on their farm.
Ask anyone in Royalton who Carolyn Dezurik and Mary Jane Dezurik are today, and they will give you a blank stare – then share directions on how to get to Treasure City.
The Cackles are one of my favorite early country music acts. I hope you love this collection of tunes as much as I do! 🙂
