Bob Marley and Tiny Tim by Kitty and Jack Norton

Bob Marley and Tiny Tim: It Just Makes Sense [VIDEO]

You think Bob Marley and Tiny Tim would make for a good collab? I do. The spirit of both seem like good dancing partners. And, if there’s one thing I know, it’s: you gotta dance when the spirit says dance, sing when the spirit says sing, pick when your wife says to pick.

Which is what I’m doing in today’s video. Picking cause my wife Kitty told me too. She’s singing. And (most likely) I’m grinning.

She’s Jamaican and her uncle is Bunny Wailer (the fella Bob Marley named the Wailers after). Just a girl named Kitty and her uncle Bunny. Talk about good names.

I’m Minnesotan and my babysitter was Tiny Tim (the fella that played the ukulele and got married on Johnny Carson’s show). Just a weirdo named Jack and his babysitter Tiny. Talk about a strange life.

Kitty sings “Three Little Birds” (the Bob Marley tune) all the time. I sing “Tiptoe Through The Tulips” (the Tiny Tim tune) all the time. But she sings it better than me, and she had the wise notion to mash these two numbers up. So here it is: Bob Marley and Tiny Tim together at last. Good dancing partners. Kinda like me and Kitty.

Thanks for watching/reading! See ya again soon: if the good Lord’s willin’, and the creek don’t rise!

Cheers,
Jack
