Just Some Ol’ Honky Tonk Music [VIDEO]
Hey friends, Jack here. Kitty and I had a fun day yesterday. She recorded me singing a medley of classic country and honky-tonk tunes. We mashed up songs from Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, and Buck Owens. I love all of them ol’ boys, especially Buck Owens. Just can’t get enough of him on Hee Haw (one of my favorite television programs). Anyhow, Kitty had me pick the guitar and blow some harmonica. She played a bit of light snare on the track and the recording turned out pretty nice. You can grab it on Bandcamp (that supports me), and stream it on Spotify (that also supports me if you listen to it four billion times).
After we finished recording, we ran out into the alley here in Mullet River, Minnesota and filmed this little video. Hope y’all enjoy! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for other fun stuff.
Thanks for listening/watching. I love them old country tunes. They just don’t make ’em like they used to! More covers and originals coming soon: if the good Lord’s willin’, and the creek don’t rise!
Cheers,
